Playing in the Studio

I have been having such fun playing in the Studio lately. Ideas sparking like it's the 4th of July! Do you ever have times of such inspiration and colorful thought, that you have to write it all down quickly before it's gone? That's exactly how iv'e been feeling. So much I want to do and learn, to fill my mind with colorful images and new techniques. I can be inspired in so many ways! Here's a few things to share, that I have been working on...

 Thought I would give painting a try... A quick sketch and acrylic paint. It was really fun! Can I tell you I am NOT a painter, but maybe I AM and just didn't know it! LOL! I think this turned out pretty neat, the process of painting this was very meditative and calming. I really did enjoy it.

Making great progress... I finished my Enchanted Fairy Book and have it listed in my Etsy shop! You can vivit my Etsy shop on the left side bar to see more of this delightful, magical book.

Here are just a few finished pages...

A Fairy gathering with pockets to hold several journaling tags...

And this is my favorite... created with stamps, ink, and colored pencils. An adorning crown with sparkle and vintage lace, wings and jewels!!!

Enchanted

This week we have had such beautiful spring weather,blossoms blooming ,fresh green leaves popping out from every branch and a renewal of life... Just Splendid! I wanted to share a few shots we captured on our inspired by spring weather walk the otherday...

Just One Stamp

I found this stamp at the Paper arts festival last weekend, and just fell in love with her, so many things you can do with just one stamp. Here are a few cards I made using just this one stamp....

Vintage circus

I just love her vintage feel. This is another version of a bathing beauty....

This great paper background is a new line from www.coredinations.com you can sand off the top surface and reveal the under color, also works great when you tear it, you get that same color that comes through. Love this new line!
