HELLO Spring, HELLO Renewal

Hello and welcome SpRiNg!!! It's long awaited arrival here in the Pacific Northwest. We experience many rainy months here in Portland, Oregon. The renewal of life again,blooming trees with soft pink and white petals,the bright yellows of daffodil's swaying in the breeze, and the scattering of tulips and purple hyacynth...Oh how I LoVe SpRinG!

I've Been busy making a few tags to share with you too! I am really loving these Vintage circus inspired images from Lisa Kettell... So stinking cute!!! I'm feeling like a butterfly coming out of seclusion and cacoon state, emerging out into the warmth of the sun to dry my wings.....flexing,stretching, feeling renewed energy, gaining strength, preparing to FLY!!!

Rustic Beauty

Hello again dear ones...

Time has been flying by ever so fast these days. I am finding it a bit difficult to stay on track. I have been joining several art groups lately. Whoo Hoo! Just love to be inspired by beautiful things....
That's been keeping me busy indeed, creating art , and finding time for reflecting.

 I recently took a drive through the countryside, and wanted to reflect upon the stillness and quiet sounds, rustic beauty, and the magic of old structures. I decided barns would be a great topic for my blog post this week, there is so much beauty in which we see....

For me... there is an appeal like no other that I feel down deep in my soul, from an old structure, chippy, painted, rusty metals, delapidation and moss...

I loVE It!
It stirs in me, an excitement from within...

Maybe it's the patina,the history....the adventurious side in me that wants to go inside and look for lost treasures. Either way, it makes me happy. Thanks for letting me share with you today.Hope your having a fantastic weekend!

Flutter Before You

Revisiting my word for 2012

Wow, this year is already flying by! It's March 1st already, and it has me thinking about my 2012 word for this year, "Productivity".
I feel that I have already accomplished a great deal in the last 3 months, and I am trying to push myself at times, to keep my momentum going. Also remembering to take the time I need for myself, to be still and listen to my soul.

I started my blog which has been really fun and new, attended a blog hop,been posting many new items on my etsy shop,meeting and connecting with an amazing group of inspirational women and fellow creatives. Taking a Brave Girls Soul Restoration class, applied for a design opportunity with Graphic 45, Joined a Flygirls ATC group, entered challenges with my art, and been busy creating new products and having so much fun! I think I am being true to my word,especially now that I can see it in writing, it seems I have been busy!

I can't wait to see what the next few months bring, I'm gaining courage, being brave, sharing more, and feel truly blessed to be living a creative life...

Thank You all, for your encouraging words,it gives me the energy and strength I need,warms my heart, and keeps me pushing myself in new directions...
